Playstyle
Templar holds the line. Heavy plate, block/parry mitigation, crowd-control pulls, and boss aggro management make it the backbone of organized PvE. Solo damage is lower, but groups will always want one.
Strengths
- ◢Best damage mitigation in the game
- ◢Essential for hard dungeon/raid groups
- ◢Strong crowd control and pulls
- ◢Never sits in a group queue
Weaknesses
- ◢Slow solo clear speed
- ◢Lower personal damage
- ◢Value depends on a coordinated party
A forgiving frontline role with a clear job — hold aggro and stay alive. Solo questing is slower, but you will always find a party.
Full Templar build (Stigma, skills, stats) will be published once live numbers are confirmed.
Detailed skill list and numeric build coming after global launch data is verified.
Templar leveling route
A four-stage route for getting Templar from level 1 to group-ready. Stages are split by milestone rather than exact level numbers, because we do not publish level-by-level XP figures we cannot source — but everything below is the order that actually matters.
Levels 1-20 · Story path
Follow the Main Story Quest. It is the fastest XP route in the early game and it unlocks the regions and systems you need for everything after it. Do not stop to grind — over-leveling in the starting zone is slower than following the quest chain, because the quest rewards scale with your level while mob XP does not.
Levels 20-40 · Gear catches up
Heavy armor and mitigation. HP matters, but mitigation is what lets you survive burst you cannot out-heal. Upgrade your weapon the moment a better one drops rather than waiting for a full set. This is the stage where falling behind in weapon investment costs you the most, and it is much cheaper to fix now than at endgame.
Levels 40-50 · Rotation matters more than gear
Templar holds the line. Heavy plate, block/parry mitigation, crowd-control pulls, and boss aggro management make it the backbone of organized PvE. Solo damage is lower, but groups will always want one. At this point a clean rotation with average gear beats average rotation with perfect gear — wasted rotation time compounds across every fight, while gear only multiplies what you already do well.
Level 50+ · Start grouping
Organized dungeons and raids are where the real progression speed is, and Templar holds S group tier at global launch. Groups actively want this role, so you can queue immediately rather than grinding alone.
