Korean and Taiwanese service reporting around the global launch window cites a cap in the 40–45 range, with some community guides quoting 45 and others quoting 40. Both are pre-launch or early-launch observations, and they do not agree.
Why the cap is expected to move
AION 2 launched in Korea and Taiwan in November 2025 with a cap that has already been raised at least once since. The cap raising is part of the post-launch content cycle, so even a verified global cap is only correct for a given week.
What this means for your playtime
Plan alts around dungeon milestones rather than a fixed level target, and treat any "max level" guide — including this one — as a snapshot that needs re-checking after each major patch.
What we can and cannot confirm
This guide is marked pending because the underlying data conflicts between sources or has not been announced at all. In both cases the useful thing to publish is what is known, what is not, and what would change the answer — not a confident guess that happens to be wrong.

Can I max out at level 40 or 45?
Whichever your region allows. If your client caps you earlier than a guide claims, the guide is wrong about your region, not about the game. This is another reason we label the numbers rather than presenting them as settled.
